Happy New Years

Over New Years we went to our house in the mountains and it was so much fun. We spent New Years night there after we went to dinner and a movie with our family. The kids stayed up so late and Maddix was so hyper. She was up till at least one in the morning yelling happy new years and dancing. Still to this day she will tell us to have Happy New Years.

Maddix loves the snow! She would barely come in the house for a second to warm up. My dad loves her so much and spent over 2 hours outside one day building a snowman and taking her on the sled. This is my Dad, Maddix and Frosty. Maddix loves to get in the kitchen and cook everybody dinner.

Christmas 2007

Christmas was so much fun but it was a very busy day. We started off the day with opening presents at our house. Maddix was so excited that Santa came she ran into the bedroom yelling Santa came to Brady so that he would wake up. It was to cute to see her so excited. And all year she has been telling us she wants Santa to bring her a bike and he did. After we opened presents we went back down to my parents house where they cook us a huge breakfast and we open presents down there with all my brothers and sisters. It is alot of fun but takes a long time because there are 9 adults that come and 2 children and my parents spoil us every year. After my parents we head over to the Ernst house where we spend the rest of Christmas day and the kids get to open more presents. We had so much fun at both houses and by the end of the day everbody crashes. But wait not Katie because she spent the rest of Christmas night so sick and just vomiting. Up until that point Christmas was a blast. We got to spend time with our familys and to see the excitement on Maddix's face all day long brought us so much joy.

Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve was so much fun. I have the best family and we had such a great night. We went over to my parents house and my dad cooked everybody this huge feast. And if you've ever been to my parents house for a party you know you will have every type of food plus every dessert. We all stuffed ourselves and sat around and had a little Christmas progam. It was such a blast to see how excited Maddix was. It's so great that she understands it now. I also have to thank my Dad because he is the very best Dad in the world. Jason and I where up until 2 in the morining Christmas Eve because we could not find the cord to charge our video camera. So I decided to text my Mom to see if they had it at there house thinking that she would get the text at about 6 in the moring but no she got it at 2:30. So my parents got up and looked for it in there house and they ended up finding it at about 3. So my saint of a Dad then says he will bring it over to me. He new that it would make me so sad not to have Brady's first Christmas on camera. He is the best Dad and I love him so much. So on Christmas Eve my Dad and I ended up going to bed at 4 in the morning and then I had to get up at 6. It was a very long Christmas day.

Baby food time

Brady started to eat baby food about a month ago and he loves it so much. He blows bubbles and his food just blows all over. It's so funny. He is just getting so big now.

So my strong little boy is just growing up way too fast. He just turned 5 months and for the last 2 weeks he has been crawling, pulling himself up, and also pushing himself up into the sitting position and he will just sit up so straight and stay there all by himself. We can't believe he is already doing all of this. It's crazy because he's so little to be doing what he's doing. But I always new he was active because I was pregnant with him for 9 months and felt his kicks the whole time . He is the sweetest little boy and we love him so much. We call him a little flirt because he giggles every time we kiss him. I can't help it because he has the best cheeks ever. Our children are such wonderful blessing in our lives.

Thanksgiving

So I just have to say Thanksgivng was so much fun. We had all our family there and there was a bunch of good food that we ate too much of. My Dad is one of the best cooks I know and he makes the best stuffing that I could always eat more of. The day before Thanksgiving my sister, Maddix, and I helped my Dad make pies. We had so much fun. Also I have to say I'm greatful that I didn't break my fingers. X-rays showed they are just very briused and swollen. I was bringing in a jello salad on Thanksgiving morning and I tripped and fell and my knuckles got cought between the glass pan that weighed liked 5 pounds (not kidding) and the cement. It hurt so bad, I think the whole neighborhood heard me yelling. They are still so swollen that my wedding rings can only go on an 1/2 inch down my finger. I hope that they get back to normal soon because it's hard for me to even grab anything. So Mandy, if it looks like I'm being a wimp in your class I'm really not meaning too. So other than my finger throbbing all day and me having to ice it every hour, things went good. I'm thankful that I have such wonderful family and friends.

Tag I'm It!

I've been tagged by a couple of people and I'm just now getting to it. So here's 6 things about me!

1. I love to jump on the trampoline at my parents house. I love to do back flips, front flips and anything else. I was a gymnast when I was younger so when I get on one it just makes me feel so free like I'm a little kid again. I have some of the best memories of me on it. I really cant wait to get one when we get a house so I can teach my kids how to do flips and just wacth them have fun.

2. My favorite holiday has to be Christmas and my B-day. I am probably the biggest kid I know when it comes to Christmas. I love the whole excitment of buying and giving gifts. I love Christmas Eve because my family has a big party. And I still wake up at 2 in the morning just to go look at all the gifts. I will never stop that and I'm sure I will wake my kids up just to go look with them. I love my B-Day because it's like the birthday that never ends. It's seriosly like a 3 day event and I love every minute. Jason and my parents always tease me because it's so true.

3. I have amazing feet even though Jason always makes fun of them. I can pick up anything with my toes and I can do alot of things with them. Jason calls them tingers; half toes, half fingers. He's such a dork but that cracks me up. Sometimes when Jae is sitting on the floor and I'm on the couch I will start scratching his head with them and just to freak him out. It's so funny. But if you got talent use it.

4. I love roller coasters. I have always loved them and anything else that will give me and adrenaline rush. They are so much fun going up high and then letting them drop you. It's just so thrilling. My family thinks it's so amazing because I get car sick over everything but nothing ever happens to me on roller coasters. I love going to Six Flags, Disneyland and even the Fair. The whole atmosphere is just so much fun, who wouldn't love it?

5. I always have plan no matter what it's about or how far or close the event is. Whether it's my kids B-day and what type of party it will be to where we are going to eat for dinner or even what we are doing for a holiday. If it's in our future, there is a plan to go with it. I have to have a plan so I know whats going on. I hate not knowing something and not to be in control over a situation. My whole family knows this, that's why we always have my baby showers at my mom's because I can plan and help with the whole thing. I'm kind of a freak about it but I love it and if anyone needs a party done I always know what to do.

6. I love numbers. Kind of wierd but they are so interesting to me. I love to add, subtract and multiply numbers. I guess it started in 4th grade when we use to have races on who could multiply the fastest. My favorite number game is Suduko. I will sit and play it on the cumputer when the kids take a nap or at night. I make sure I always figure it out. I can't walk away from it unsolved or I will constanly be thinking about. Jae laughs at me but I remind him that it's so good for the brain.
