Viva Las Vegas!

This past weekend my Mom, Sister, and I went to Las Vegas for a girls' weekend. What a fun filled weekend we had. We went up for the Las Vegas beauty convention that they have every year. Our plane left at 7 a.m and my sis and I only got 3 hours of sleep. We were so loud on the plane, I swear everybody probably thought we were drunk because we were laughing so much but we were just high off of caffeine to try to keep us awake. We got to do a lot of great things. We went to a lot of great classes, went shopping, got dressed up to go to dinner, and mostly we just got to live it up in Vegas. And if anyone knows my mom, my sister, and me together, you know we will probaly have more fun than what we should. We had a blast and we can't wait to do it all over again next year. This is in the airport because we kept teasing the guys that we were going to the show!

This was a picture we took of the Las Vegas strip as we were stting on the plane waiting to come back to AZ. This was also the scariest flight I have ever been on. I guess it's not a good sign when your on the runway and the plane goes black inside and they have to jump start the plane. And then they tell us this like it was supposed to make us feel better. Then I swear it was the pilot's first time flying. I have never been in a plane where it would make so many sharp turns to the right then to the left then go up and down. I was freaking out. I finally felt safe when the plane landed, oh wait the alarm goes off in the plane and we are stuck on it for like 20 minutes with a loud ringing in our ears. It was a horrilble flight and I don't know when I will be flying again.

Random News

So here's just a couple of things that have happened in my life lately.

1. I'm so happy to say that Jason passed his board exam. He is now a licensed Occupational Therapist. Yea, I'm so excited! It's been really weird because he doesn't have to study anymore and it hasn't been like that for awhile. But I better live it up while I can because those of you who don't know, Jason is planning on going to medical school so I better take advantage now of all his free time.

2. There's going to be another little baby coming soon to our family. And no way am I saying that it's going to be me having it. But I am proud to say that my older brother and his wife are expecting there first baby together. My brother already has 2 children from his first marriage so now it's time to add a 3rd to the group. We are all so excited but I think my other sister-in-law and I are more happy than the rest because we don't have to be the ones to give birth to it and we can just enjoy watching her. Love you Allison and Damon, you will be great!

3. This is just kind of funny to me and maybe not Jason so much. I have never been a reader. I've just never been able to sit still long enough to take time to read a long book. Well that changed maybe because I like my quiet time to myself more now rather than before due to the fact that I have 2 children and that I never get any alone time. So a couple of my sisters-in-law, my sister, and mom all talk books on Sundays and they were talking about Twilight and about the movie a couple of Sunday's ago. So I decided I should give it a chance because I want to see the movie with all of them when it comes out in December and I don't want to be left in dark on what's going to happen when they all know. Needless to say, I read the whole book in 3 days and I've started on the 2nd. I sound like a total dork but I have to know what happens to Bella and Edward. So Jason was annoyed because he spent all day studying so we could have the night together and that's the night i decided to start reading my first book and I couldn't put it down. If your like me and have never read a book, I would suggest reading this set.

Happy 1 Birthday Brady!

Brady was flying high on his birthday, due to Uncle Damon, pizza, his own birthday cake, and his presents. He was having the time of his life. His birthday was a blast and it was so much fun to watch him dig into his cake. Hope you had fun buddy because I know we all did. We love you so much! For Brady's actual birthday, my family and I took him to Pei Wei for dinner where he and Maddix had a blast with chop sticks. Maddix is actually quite good.

So my little Brady boy turned 1! Wow where did that year go too? I honestly can't believe that he is one and that just a year ago I gave birth to him. You decided to come into this world with a bang so after being in labor for 12 hours and pushing for 4 you just wouldn't budge and so we had to get a c -section to get your little butt out. But ever since that day you have never slowed down. Brady, you are such great addition to our family. You make us laugh so much. And you are seriusly the strongest baby I have ever met. You started crawling at 4 and a 1/2 months, standing up around 5 months, crawling up the stairs by 6 months, and walking full on by 10 months. You sure are a busy body and you have kept us on our toes. You will climb anything in sight and that includes climbing on top of the table, the kitchen island, and anything else that might look interesting to you. You are a dare devil and that scares me but I'm learning to get use to it. You love to play with Maddix and want to do anything she is doing. We love you so much buddy and we can't wait to watch you grow. It's exciting everyday to watch your sweet smiling little perfect face light up when you get excited about something or when you figure something out. You are one of the biggest blessings in our lives and we love you with all our heart.
